Hope Haitian Ministries
That was 2012. In the summer of 2014, Hope Haitian Ministries was formed and was approved as a 501(c)3 corporation. The ministry was evolving into so much more than Hope Haitian Choir. A church was built in 2015 in the same village of Lamarre: Eglise Biblique Espoir de Lamarre...Bible Hope Church of Lamarre. One year later, School of Hope began with 31 sponsored students. As of this writing in January 2021, over 350 children are currently enrolled in Grades Preschool through Grade 6. Each student receives a nourishing meal every day and excellent teaching in French.
In the fall of 2018, the ministry partnered with Compassion International which allowed them to expand even more, providing sponsorships for many more students. There are exciting plans ahead, as God wills and funds allow, for the purchase of land and the building of a high school.
The most recent development is the building of a small trade school, set to begin in January 2021.
